This video is like those pair of jeans you still have from college, it just always seems to fit properly no matter the trends. When I first wrote this video I was inspired by current events: The collapse of the housing market, Detroit’s bankruptcy, and America’s infatuation with celebrity lives and sports entertainment. As you look at America’s current situation, are we not still blinded by very similar issues?
I’d also like to point out my Trayvon Martin teeshirt and hoodie that I rock in the video as a tribute to the slain student.
In this music video I challenge our society and its interests by asking, “What are you worried about?”
